Huddle Up Moms began in Southwest Virginia with the mission of empowering mothers through education, connection, and support. We aim to fuel meaningful connections within our community by working collaboratively with other organizations that promote women’s health and wellness. We believe that all mothers deserve to flourish in all aspects of their lives.

Virginia Harm Reduction Coalition

The Virginia Harm Reduction Coalition (VHRC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, peer-run organization whose mission is to improve the health of the drug-using community we serve by advocating for, developing, and implementing evidence-based solutions to address the adverse effects of drug use.

Blue Ridge Literacy

The mission of Blue Ridge Literacy is to support achievement of life goals by providing opportunities to strengthen literacy skills to adults in western Virginia. One of our main philosophies is to keep a learner’s goals and interests in mind when working with them.

SERV

SERV’s mission is to speak out against prejudice through education, advocacy, and
engagement in the Roanoke Valley. We strive to own our privilege and use it to disrupt
prejudice in all its various forms.

LEAP

LEAP nurtures our food community. We do this to create food and farming systems that prioritize health and abundance by supporting community initiatives, markets, farms, and farmers.

Roanoke Diversity Center

Mission Statement: To support, educate, empower, and advocate for LGBT individuals and groups in the Roanoke region, and to encourage collaborative efforts with the greater community to improve the quality of life for all.

Roanoke Reparations Group

A group of passionate individuals, faith-based groups and community leaders who are interested in repentance and repair. 

Porch Roanoke

PORCH Roanoke is an all-volunteer hunger relief organization. We collect food and cash donations through monthly neighborhood food drives and deliver the contributions to food pantries who provide emergency food to individuals and families in our area.

Casa Latina

Casa Latina is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency that addresses the needs of the local Spanish-speaking community in the Roanoke Valley of Virginia. We are based in the City of Roanoke but our reach goes far beyond the city’s limits.

Roanoke Refugee Partnership

Our mission is to partner with the refugee members of the Roanoke community by providing equitable access to resources supporting economic, social, physical, and mental well-being.

Justice Advocates in the Roanoke and New River Valleys

Justice Advocates will be an effective interfaith voice for justice, compassion, and transformation.
